Listen when you turn somebody on their left side like that it helps them breathe, but you're supposed to turn them onto their right side because that's where you have the greatest amount of lung tissue (the right lung has a greater quantity of surface area than the left and so you want that side closest to the ground in order to perfuse the most amount of blood as possible, in the event that somebody is unconscious but with a pulse and breathing). the real problem is that this hero not only did not check her pulse her responsiveness nor her capacity to breathe, but he didn't ask what happened. Sure he correctly assumed that she was unconscious and capable of breathing on her own. however he very wrongly assumed that he could move her around. Without a proper history of "what happened to her," you can't move her around. You can't turn her on her side without stabilizing her neck. Her friends already fucked up by moving her. Had he known about the kicks to the head, he'd a known to stabilize her neck before doing anything that would cause her cervical vertebra to jostle around.
