So you're saying that rehabilitation is pointless? Look at Norway and Sweden, they have the lowest reoffend rates in the world because they treat their criminals like humans and try to better them. In the US they're treated like dog shit and left to fend for themselves, which is why they end up worse than before they went inside.

When you look at the big picture here, this would not have happened if a convicted felon was given the job as a customer service rep at McDonald’s. IMO the system has failed.. This is now his second felony charge against him and will be locked up for a long time. Maybe they will think twice before hiring him again.
