WILSONVILLE, Ore. – A California man who was asked to leave the bar at a Wilsonville Holiday Inn on Saturday night responded by trashing the place.

Siale Saili, 27, threw several chairs at the bartender and over the bar, causing thousands of dollars in damage, according to police.

Witnesses told police the incident started when several members of a bachelorette party complained to the bartender about Saili. When the bartender asked Saili to leave, he began throwing objects all over the place.

"911 lit up with reports of a disturbance at the Holiday Inn," Sgt. Nathan Thompson said.

Once caller yelled, "Holiday Inn, we have somebody who's threatening people in the bar and he's throwing chairs at everybody."

The dispatcher asked if any weapons were involved and the caller responded, "No, but he's going psycho!"

Surveillance video from the bar shows the bartender narrowly avoiding one of the chair's Saili threw.

After he was done throwing things, Saili left the hotel. Police caught up with him a short time later and took him into custody.

Saili faces charges including menacing, criminal mischief, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Why get hurt possibly killed over furniture? If someone needed saving that's one thing but otherwise I would have stood by and watched too. However there were a few people who probably could have tackled him after he threw that first chair which was arguably assult.
