A violent altercation broke out among a group of Korean tourists at a popular restaurant in central Pattaya, Thailand, in the early hours of July 11th, 2025, causing chaos and damage to the establishment.

Following the incident, Lieutenant Colonel Panasarn Krongsit, Deputy Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, led a team of officers to the scene. Authorities detained four Korean tourists, all of whom were friends dining at the same table when a dispute escalated into violence. The group were taken to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning, accompanied by the unidentified restaurant owner, who provided further details.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the restaurant is pressing charges against the group for property damage and unpaid dining expenses. The establishment estimated damages at 50,000 baht per involved party, totaling 100,000 baht for the two opposing sides.

After discussions, the Korean tourists agreed to cover the full cost of the damages. Police charged the group with public brawling, imposed fines, and then released them.
