I've worked in Romania as a Chief of Security, pretty much sums up all shoplifters after they get caught by us, taken to a backroom, strip searched if necessary and applied some local education before police picked them up, applied some more local education, taken to the police station and *insert preferred outcome here*.

So from what I understand, this is what happened here aswell.
