A man was brutally beaten in Petrozavodsk around 1:36 a.m. in the courtyards on Alexander Nevsky Prospect, near building number 18. Eyewitnesses posted video footage on social media.

Judging by the footage, a girl threw an object resembling a brick on the head of a man lying on bags, then began kicking him and then jumping on him.

A man stood nearby the entire time and did not intervene.

According to preliminary data from the Karelian Ministry of Internal Affairs, two individuals sustained injuries as a result of the conflict, and one of the participants had his mobile phone broken. All parties involved in the incident have been identified, and an investigation is underway.
