Not in Hampton Roads, Virginia. when i worked security at the social services building, there was almost never white people there. And when they did come in they were not treated the same as the black staff treated the blacks. When i worked in the jail, the ratio was pretty much the same... but there are significantly less blacks in the area than whites. Unemployment shows similar number in the area as well. The municipalities seem to put forth a LOT of effort to helping the situation, but it seems to still steadily get worse. I also think it's weird that blacks make up about half of the leadership in the municipalities. White people and black people here seem to get along, so long as they aren't redneck or ghetto (trash). And yet again, the ratios of black trash to white trash i would say seems the same as the other ratios, despite there being more whites than blacks. Just my observation. can't speak to anywhere else except where i am from which there are relatively no black living (in the Adirondacks), where there is a overall 4% black population. The town i am from has a 0% black population. it also has relatively no violent crime or unemployment. Adirondacks have a crime rate that is 53% below the national average. Your chance of becoming a victim of violent crime is slim to none. Personally, i think you'd probably have to be beggin for violence for it to happen, and it would almost certainly be justified for someone to put their hands on another in the town I am from. People just get along. It's probably not a coincidence but still, i can only speak to these places from my experience. just the same, for these reasons i find you fallible. you can thank the democrats since blacks were doing WAY better before the 60's when the dixie-crats pulled the wool over the worlds eyes... also not many of those there either. very conservative traditional values and politics. who would have thought it was the recipe for paradise... minus the mighty mighty tundra. I don't have personal insight into their welfare situation but googling showed exactly what i expected... the poverty numbers are grossly higher than that of the people receiving services... it's what i expected becasue the majority of whites seem to not want or take handouts... seems to be a cultural thing. It may sound bad but it's something that's often looked down upon in white society... not your bleeding heart left-wing crybaby socialist of course.
