Fair enough. If folks in Belarus don't get drunk, drive, and fight as much as Russians, it could be considered ignorant and insensitive to say the situation is same in Russia as in Belarus. If so, then same thing, at least on this video.  |

Sure, alcoholism is a big problem in Russia, and pretty much in every post-Soviet country. What you need to consider watching these videos, is that a big percentage of Russians have dashcams on their cars, which creates illusion of availability, as it is named in psychology. Meaning, as many people have such cameras on their cars, there will also be more material available, which creates an illusion that one comes across stuff like this every day in Russia. Myself, I have witnessed such only once while in Russia. What comes to fighting, sure it happens, but where doesn't? Russia is still safer place to live than USA. |
