Girl Attacked by 2 Other Girls in Birmingham, UK.

A schoolgirl was dragged to the ground by her hair and kicked and punched - before a video of her savage beating was shared on Facebook.

The victim, aged just 14, said she was attacked in Short Heath Park, Erdington , on Monday.

The incident was not reported to police at the request of the teenager, who fears further repercussions.

But her familly asked the Birmingham Mail to publlish the footage to highlight the teenager's ordeal.

The Mail has agreed to the family's request to publish the video and has taken steps to obscure the victim's identy.

The disturbing video, which has two short clips, was understood to have been taken by a boy who was present at the time and shared on Facebook.

The victim's older sister said it was an unprovoked and motiveless attack.

She said: “She was in the park with two friends when two girls came from behind and attacked her, dragging her to the floor by her hair and kicking and punching her.

“There are two short video clips.

"The first shows her being dragged to the floor by her hair, punched and stamped on.

“In the other she is being beaten on the floor and then a shoe is thrown at her.

"They also took items out of her bag and threw them on the floor.

“The videos are short but her ordeal lasted for around five minutes.

"It was totally unprovoked and nothing was said to her by the girls first.

"She believes her two attackers are 14 and 15.

“She was left with scratches, cuts and bruises.

"But it has had a real affect on her mentally.

"She has been left very shaken by what has happened.

“These types of attacks, which are filmed and shared on social media, are far too common.

"As a family, we wanted this type of bullying to be highlighted.

"These kind of attacks are just disgusting and I hope these girls are ashamed of themselves.

“We wanted to go to the police but she asked us not to as she fears she may become a target again.”
