Re: Georgia Female Student fights Female Teacher who breaks her leg
A Georgia student is facing criminal charges after a dispute that left a teacher with a broken leg. Heritage High School in Rockdale County suspended the ninth grader following the violent altercation captured on video. Over the weekend, the clip received viral attention across social media platforms. The unidentified student is likely facing criminal charges. The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying they’re “actively investigating this incident.” Following the altercation on Jan. 26, the student was taken to a Juvenile Detention Center. Meanwhile, the unnamed teacher is reportedly recovering from a broken leg. The school district released a statement after the incident denouncing violence against teachers. It’s still unclear what provoked an argument between the student and the teacher. However, in two videos of the altercation, the student seemingly suggests the teacher was “talking about [her] mom.” The witness student’s parent threw some blame at the teacher as well, saying, “teachers are not taking a class on how to deal with children.” Local outlet, The Rockdale Newton Citizen, reports the educator has been teaching for 27 years and currently teaches language arts at Heritage High. Additionally, the outlet claims the teacher was covering the class for another teacher on the day of the attack. |

Re: Georgia Female Student fights Female Teacher who breaks her leg
Teacher Tiwana Turner who was attacked by a student. Tiwana Turner is an English Language Arts educator, and she has taught in public education for the past 27 years. On the morning of Thursday, January 26, 2023, Ms. Turner was covering another class in lieu of her co-worker’s absence. When Ms. Turner attempted to redirect the off-task behavior of one of the students, the student proceeded to physically attack her. During the attack, Ms. Turner was thrown to the ground and sustained multiple injuries. She is currently hospitalized with knee and leg injuries, and is unable to walk. She will not be returning to work anytime soon, and she will require extensive rehabilitation and therapy. Yesterday, her life was suddenly altered, and now she will require several mobility accommodations while she recovers. This does not include the financial strain from fees associated with her hospitalization. While she has helped so many students and families during her 27 years in education, she is now in need of help and assistance. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards her rehabilitation and hospitalization fees. https://www.gofundme.com/f/teacher-w...ls-from-attack |

Re: Georgia Female Student fights Female Teacher who breaks her leg
The witness student's parent blames the teacher for not being trained in how to not get her leg broken by a scumbag that thinks she can attack people. The parent must think this is normal behaviour for her to think training should be given to teachers on how to deal with these pieces of shite.

I am always baffled why this sentence is included in almost every news report on such events. It's as if there may be a justifiable excuse for a student attacking a teacher.

Perhaps the people who engage in such behavior are the ones in need of taking classes. What classes, you ask? The classes the parent(s) give to their children on how to properly behave in public, specifically behavior in school. When the teacher says, "shut up and color", you shut the fuck up and color.
