China is not a normal country. I mean, they boil cats & dogs alive because the meat tastes better that way, so cut these cultural primitives some slack! Just beating a pregnant woman on the obstetrics table is a sign of hope, if you ask me. In 20 years, they could conceivably be at the moral level of 1950s America. In 50, 2016. At least they're not eating her.
