Ex-UFC FIGHTER explains street fight in Austin

Former UFC fighter Roger Huerta told TMZ.com that he has an explanation for his involvement in a weekend street fight in Austin: He was coming to the defense of a woman.

Video posted on the entertainment and gossip website showed an unidentified man punching a woman outside a bar. The woman falls to the street, and Huerta enters the picture to confront the man.

"I approached the man calmly and said, "Do you know what you just did? You just knocked out this girl,' " Huerta told TMZ. "I just don't think that it's right to hit a woman. Period."

Seconds later, the video shows the man lying in the street and Huerta kicking him. Huerta said the other man threw the first punch, but "I got the better of him, and I left."

An Austin police spokesman told the Statesman on Thursday that police were aware of the videotape, but he could not confirm the status of an investigation.

What makes this funny is that Roger Huerta is only 155 lbs. Looking at the video that black dude looks well over 200. Im going to say 220 and got knocked the fuck out. Fucking cowered for hitting a female like that.

He weighed in at 155 when he was fighting, which is after cutting a lot of weight, mostly water. Looking at that, I'd guess he's at least 175 there. Never the less, skill > size
