There's a scene in LADY FRANKENSTEIN (1971) where Mickey Hargitay playing the village constable gets knocked out hard by the creature, The torch bearing villagers come upon him and ask, "Is he dead?" "No, he's unconscious." "Okay, let him sleep it off." and they step right over his body to pursue the monster  That's what I'd say if I came across this guy: "Let him sleep it off... and hopefully he'll be dead by morning."  |
