You can never take videos like this at face value, because I am pretty positive that the guard was acting. He knows they are being videoed and as soon as the police arrive, the assailant is going to have to pay the victim for "damages". And the payments could be dragged out for quite a while too depending on how long it takes for him to "recover". Very common and I would have done the same thing.
