This is the shocking moment a bare-chested brute launches a savage attack on a former friend.

Thug Daniel Browne pounced on the 28-year-old victim as he walked out of a shop after buying alcohol for a barbecue.

Disturbing CCTV footage captures the full horror of the assault in July last year.



Browne, 24, of St Mary’s Road, Hyde, Tameside, delivers a flurry of punches to the man’s face and head then wrestles him down to the pavement on nearby Acresfield Road, Hyde.

The brute reigns down dozens more blows and kicks before he tries to stamp on the victim’s head.

Further punches follow as the man desperately tries to shield his head and body.

Browne then walks away, leaving the man seriously injured and cowering in terror near to a fence.

Browne, who has a removals business, denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent but was found guilty by a jury after a trial. He was jailed for five years.
