I don't think he deserved to die but it was priceless watching him go down. He over used the baton and got the shoe to the face trick. I hope cops watch that closely and realize how things can go bad very quickly. The public will struggle and fight half heartedly until they perceive that they are better off fighting for their lives. And once the tide turns an angry mob will have no mercy once they get the upper hand.
