Conspiracy Influencer Chantelle Baker Films Her Car Windscreen Being Stomped in
July 07, 2024. Social media influencer Chantelle Baker has filmed the moment her car windscreen was smashed after a road rage incident in Rangiora, New Zealand. The video shows two females exiting a vehicle and running towards Baker’s car, with one of the women jumping on Baker’s bonnet before smashing her windscreen by stomping on it. Police say they are investigating the incident. Baker’s eight-month-old toddler was in the vehicle when she came under attack. Baker is a well known anti-vaccine influencer who gained a large following during the anti-mandate parliament protests. In 2023 Baker was thrown off Facebook by owner ****, for sharing misleading information that could lead to harm regarding the vaccine. The two women exiting a Mazda Demio, with one of them jumping onto Baker’s car and stomping the windscreen, shattering the glass. She then jumps down to confront Baker, swearing at her as she tries to open the door. She then sprints back to her vehicle. Baker says one of the women threw a rock at her vehicle while her baby was asleep in the back seat. She then makes a plea for another driver to come forward who may have witnessed an earlier incident with the women. A witness told she'd seen the two women driving at speed, and that they appeared to be angry at Baker for slowing down, after another driver didn't merge properly. "It looked like, from my rear view mirror, that when Chantelle was driving slower, the blue car keeps on pressing their gas and then, like, tail-gating her," the witness, she, said. The incident appears to have occurred near the old police station in Rangiora. According to police, the incident happened on King St, around 1pm. Update: An update on the ‘Car Stomp’ situation. The women have not presented to Police or given a statement. They have apparently run away from Canterbury to the North Island and are refusing to speak with the Police and will only answer queries through their lawyer. Rather than this being a quick resolution with mediation and an apology their lawyer is now talking about a jury trial which simply comes at a high cost to the taxpayers. |
