Chechen War Veteran Kicks Some Yobs Ass After They Called Him and His Bag Gay

This is the moment three Russian men are beaten up by a shopper after they mocked him for the 'feminine' bag he was carrying.

CCTV footage showed the man reacting violently after the others waiting at the till suggested he was gay.

The man, a veteran of the second Chechen war, was ordering food in St Petersburg when the sudden violence broke out.

At the start of the clip the man, dressed in a black cap, takes the black bag off his shoulder, revealing it to the camera.

According to reports the former soldier lashed out at the fast-food shop after one of the men said that the bag was 'feminine looking' and its owner might be 'gay'.

Without warning he attacks one of the other men with both fists, striking him in the face and sending him falling backwards into a table.

One of the other yobs throws a punch but barely makes an impact and the veteran responds by knocking him to the ground with a much more powerful strike.

Another shopper in a yellow rain coat initially waits to see if the situation will calm down but hurries away after the second man crashes to the floor.

The veteran then punches a third man before returning to assault the first of his victims, who had climbed back up off the ground.

A man steps from behind the till but retreats again when he sees the attacker has picked up a chair.

He smashes into two of the men with the chair before finally pausing, as one of his victims - a man in a blue hat - tries to plead with him.

As the violence dies down the ex-soldier appears to argue his case with the shopkeeper before shaking hands with one of the men he had punched.
