Maybe... Unless he argued that he feared the old man buys driver was at risk of loosing life or limb thanks to the aggressive and vicious and clearly healthy strong man antagonizing him from a point of liability. There's a strong legal argument that can be made here for the taxi driver, ASSUMING he was acting in good faith to save the old man bus driver's life.
