If you look closely you can see it sliding on the pavement towards that corner right before the light colored jacket person enters the scene. Is it a watch? It’s really hard to tell..

I think that skittering object was a knife. After he got to his feet, the motorcycle rider made a bunch of stabbing motions at the burly driver, and the burly guy was frantically doing defensive blocks while laying on his back, until the rider was disarmed.
