Wow, the soccer clubs have to pay for the police and any riot damage? That is outstanding. Here in the US it's up to the taxpayer to foot the bill. I wish we had that system. The professional sports clubs would have to stop selling alcohol if the implemented that here in the US. That's why it will never happen...the booze concessions rule the games.

I must say that the Met sure handles a public disturbance well...lots of riot coppers, horses, police vans, dogs, etc. Good execution, no panic by constables, just voice commands and uniformed presence/show of force. Nicely done.
