A. L, 66 years old, works as a valet in a parking lot at an artificial beach in a park in the city of Buenos Aires and is currently fighting for his life because of a brutal and forceful blow he received from a client's 17 year old son last Friday, November 19 after a family accused him of scratches on their car.

The man remains in intensive care at a clinic as a result of a clot that formed in his head as a result of the attack.

In 2008 he retired from his military career and started the new job. It felt like home. All the neighbors know and liked him.

His daughter had arranged to phone him on Friday, November 19, as a month ago she had left Argentina to settle in Mexico. They wrote and called each other on WhatsApp every day. But that Friday he didn't answer the call.

Another valet took A.L's cell phone and dialed one of the last numbers. It was the phone number of A's best friend and it was him who called M. L, the ex-wife.

M.L. and her daughter went to the Hospital thinking that he had fainted. There, when speaking with the owner of the parking lot and with the police, they found out about the attack.

According to the daughters, there had already been problems with the aggressor's family, who used to leave cars parked for long stays.

"The boy is violent. They had explained to him that the cameras were there and that it was possible to check if it had been another owner, notify that person and that the insurance intervened. But he did not listen," said the daughter.

"I want justice and at the same time I want to focus on my dad's health. I want to calm down but I think and I go crazy after two seconds. When anguish and pain are mixed with anger and helplessness, you don't know what to do. A nightmare, you don't know how to live.

Almost a week after the attack, the teenager who hit A.L. presented himself, together with his lawyer, at the Criminal, Misconduct and Misdemeanor prosecutor's office.

The adolescent's father spoke of previous threats and claimed that the video from the security cameras, where the attack is seen, was incomplete.

“There is a video missing where this valet, A.L., threatens him with an iron, all due to the discussion of a scratch on a vehicle. He (his son) tells me that this person boasts of having been a military man and told him 'you fucking gypsy, they should have killed them all', and that unleashed my son's anger.

He did not justify the blow, I told him that I should have denounced it in any case," he told.

The manager of the garage received a call in the parking lot. "He tells me that it is the father, that he wanted to know what had happened. I told him 'if you are the father, come with your son, go to the police station'. He replied 'why are the cars stopping me if it is private property?".

"I approached the mother, who appears in red in the footage. I told her: 'bring your son where he committed the crime, the police are here' and she said:" No, the person who hit him was not with me. " And it was the mother. I told her that I could not lie with something like that, that it was all filmed. They disappeared there, they did not appear again, "he added.

The victim's daughter told that it was an "attempted murder." “The truth is that we are destroyed. I was in Mexico when I found out what happened and took the first plane I found.
