A member of Venezuela’s assembly appeared on state television with a bruised, swollen and bloody head Tuesday evening, after a brawl erupted among lawmakers in a heated session over post-election powers.

An estimated 17 opposition members and 5 pro-government deputies were injured during the brawl.

The fight broke out after pro-government legislators began punching opposition members for their unfurling of a banner that protested their loss of powers, post-election.

Opposition members won’t accept President Nicolas Maduro — the late Hugo Chavez’s handpicked successor — as the rightful leader, and say his win was due to election fraud.

He only won the April 14 vote by a 1.49 percent margin.

Mr. Maduro’s government supporters have taken revenge on the opposition members and refused to let them sit on legislative committees.

yeah its very heated in venezuela right now...the government that is in power now is the government chosen by the people as we can see by the votes...
the opposition party was promised by the american globalists with the billions dollars in the pocket (plus help from CIA political hitmen) that they would be in power and carry out americas policies e.g. allowing mc donalds to come in and rape them, have a shell station on every corner and basically globalise the country and fuck over the people with prices they cant afford....the politicians in return would get nice lump sums of cash..basically sell outs.
the government at the moment knows this and are real pissed to be in the same room as those sell-out liars..and the opposition are pissed they didnt get their share and power and are pissed to have to sit their and be bitches...
