A woman named Ruth Price calls 911 to report man looking, then all of a sudden she starts screaming. There is a lot of talk about this recording being a fake, yet no one has been able to say for sure.

There does seem to be an unusual small amount of information on the web about this, especially since it's such a traumatic event that was apparently caught on tape.

Not only do I sincerely hope this is fake, I also get the suspicion that it is anyway. The operator's first advice should have been to lock all the doors and to tell the exact address. Ruth randomly asserts that she is an elderly woman who lives alone, probably to make the situation more horrific and sympathetic. It seems like an instructional video staged for 911 training, or something of that nature.

I agree, plus i think she would have heard him break in (as having a creepy guy lurking around would make most people with some common sense lock the doors) and i think he would of hung up the phone for her, as if he had crept behind her he would of seen, heard her on the phone.

I think she did hear him break in, when she got all quiet, said "and umm". But then again I've also read this is fake, so who the fuck knows.
