Off-duty CPD Supervisor Fires at Unidentified Person, No Hits
On March 19, 2025, at approximately 6: am, off-duty CPD Supervisor of Property Custodians Mattie McKinney discharged her firearm at an unidentified individual. No one was hit. At approximately 7: am, Chicago police identified the incident as a firearm discharge by a CPD member, with no hits. Supervisor McKinney's use of deadly force complied with CPD policy, and she was not served with allegations related to the incident.
