Update on this case... Kevin Sweat plead guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in July 2014, as part of a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. At his sentencing, however, he had changed his mind and wanted to withdraw his guilty plea, but the judge didn't allow it. He was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. His appeal to the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals to withdraw his guilty plea was denied in September 2015.
