I had a neighbor who only attempted murder when he was blackout-drunk. He abused his wife repeatedly, but only tried to choke-her-out when hammered. She shit herself and asked us to be her godparents... called the cops... access denied.  (FWIW, we called the cops repeatedly, but she denied abuse every time.) Talk about a mess. We thankfully moved away soon after. |
