Something Beautiful About Olden Times
Well this is just for a friendly discussion. Pls don't bash me here. I find that women from the olden times alluring and beautiful. In fact more beautiful than the current ones. They are beautiful in a way as in they have stunning figures (no coke and junk food in the past), demure, well natured, well mannered, uphold traditions, motherly, family oriented... And I love their hairstyles and dresses too. What you guys think? ![]() https://www.deviantart.com/hotperils...eau-1019357040 |

Re: Something Beautiful About Olden Times
The bra-less late 1970s early 1980s were hands-down the best fashion period ever. Not the best fashions per se. I came of age then, so its best not to call that Olden Times. |

Re: Something Beautiful About Olden Times
Look up actress Florence LaBadie, who died in 1917. She was in an accident in August, but seemed to be recovering until September, when she died from sepsis. I have crushes on those early actresses, which means I'm nuts about women who have all been dead for a century or longer. Just a tip about some of these women. Many were in the Ziegfeld Follies, which meant they were dancers. Many were ALSO in the Ziegfeld "Midnight Frolics", which were after hours full and partial nude performances after the main show ended at 10 pm. There is a famous photographer, whose name I cannot remember, but he photographed all of Ziegfeld's girls, and his entire photo collection is in a New York Museum. He specialized in huge, black and white photos, which are very beautiful. Even the girls who did NOT do Nude shows with the "Frolics" still were photographed nude by this guy, for Mr. Ziegfeld. I have found a number of early actresses in this collection. Many of them are quite stunning, and in the age before great makeup or cosmetic surgery. So, if the girls biography mentions the Ziegfeld Follies, there MIGHT be nudes of them, and if they were in the Ziegfeld Frolics, there ARE nude pics of them. I had never heard of this photographer before, but according to the article I read, he is quite well regarded, his collection of pics are considered historical masterpieces, and they have preserved his cameras and equipment. Unlike in France, there was no where to actually publish these pics in the U.S., and so he never did. There was virtually no porn printed in the U.S. before WWI. When the U.S. troops came back from France in WWI, there first was a demand in the U.S. for nude pics of women, and they started to appear in the 1920's, but were still rare. |

Re: Something Beautiful About Olden Times
In the LAST set of pics, girls in pics #1, 2, and 5 look like that guys work. Many of the nudes he took for Mr. Ziegfeld were progressive photo sets of the women stripping, and those 3 look like they were taken from some of his sets. (He was obviously as skilled as any Playboy photographer, and his specialty was making the women look as beautiful as possible, which he certainly did.)
