in the late 90's early 00's she wrote a bunch of more R&B type songs that introduced a load of up and coming hip hop artists.....it's was a great time for her as she got to break out of her crooner mould and really experiment with her voice.....and her look... this one with a young Jay-Z is awesome,.......she has a bitch fight with herself this is a great track and i wish she made more of this type of thing because she really works well i this style.......and by fuck is she sexy in this!! |

well she was pursued by the head of columbia records and ended up marrying him which was definitely a good career move on her part as he wantd to make her the companys number one female artist....which he did.... you know columbia spent over a million dollars marketing her first album......insane!! but hey, it worked and people lapped it up and she ended up signing HUGE deals.....100million dollar record deal with virgin for example..... i think all that might have been worth fucking a guy she was obviously attracted to....it's not like he raped her, or she him, it's mutual using....symbiosis? |
