Yesterday morning (22nd July 2018) in Itajaí, Carlos Cadu crashed his car in a river + drowned.    |

That's sad. Drowning is my worst fear. I think it stems from a holiday we went on when I was about 4/5 yrs old, and some dickwad pushed me under the water and sat on my head for about 5 (felt like 30) minutes. Luckily the lifeguard noticed. I had to drink half a litre of orange cordial, which actually gave me stomach ache instead of preventing it lol, but yeah, ever since then....

Poor guy. I hope he was at least unconscious when the drowning happened. Too sad to know someone is alive and cant get out of the vehicle before succumbing to the terrifying reality of drowning to death. Ever since I watched that video of that young woman drowning while stuck in her car after she went thru a blocked area due flooding...I am so vigilant. I live around water and whew, extra vigilant especially at night. |
