World's Fastest Mustang 264.7 MPH Crash in Car View
Bonneville World Finals, October 2010 Danny Thompson (driver of the world's fastest mustang) makes a lift off at approximately 264.7 MPH. Insufficient downforce sent the car flipping end over end into the air. It travelled over 1,100 feet before touching down again and continuing to tumble. Danny suffered no injuries, nor did his iPhone 4, which was tucked into the front of his uniform. It was a testament to safety equipment and the astounding work performed by the crew at Hajek Racing. |
