Wooden Bridge Collapses when a Truck Was Crossing It
A wooden bridge collapsed on Friday while a cargo truck was crossing the structure on the stretch of MA-272 between the Maranhão municipalities of Fernando Falcão and Mirador, 554 km from São Luís. Residents told the that the bridge had already shown signs of wear for at least 90 days, which may have contributed to the accident. The collapse was recorded by a resident of the region. It shows the truck almost completing the crossing when the structure gives way and the vehicle falls into the Alpergatas River. The truck driver suffered minor injuries. He was taken to a local hospital. According to witnesses, after the collapse, the vehicle ended up being dragged by the river current. In response to what happened, Sinfra-MA (State Secretariat for Infrastructure of Maranhão) informed that it is carrying out a technical survey at the site to prepare the construction project for a new bridge over the Alpergatas river. |

Jesus has no problem walking on water. He's just NOT so good at driving a truck across a wooden bridge. There's no chapter or verse in the Bible on THAT!  |
