Nowadays vehicles have backup cameras and sensors in the front and back bumpers, and ours has them on both side mirrors as well.

My wifes car is like yours, with backup camera and sensors My car has none of that, but best believe I back up the same way everytime and do it the right way |

Yes. But I do appreciate having the extra measures for safety. Although, 2 weeks ago my husband rear ended the car in front of him. This is our new 2019 Ram btw , which was finally done being repaired last night! The damage fucked up all the sensors. Anyway. We had to rent 2 cars during these past 2 weeks and both of them had backup cameras. Which was unexpected to me, one was a Hyundai something and the other a tiny Focus. And another rental we had to get in Dec had a back up cam as well. Oh and interesting, another feature on the Ram is when you backup and it senses you are going...too fast...not speed reversing, but backing into a parking spot for example, the Ram applies the brakes on its own. Now they need to make the for the front bumper, wouldn’t work in an actual high speed crash, but it would work well in the accident my husband had, fender bender/musher type accident. These safety features should be required in China though, lol |
