| Turkey - A young woman, Guler Polat , was crossing a street with her aunt at an intersection when a car, the driver of which lost control after crossing at red light, hit her. Polat flew in the air with the impact of the crash and landed on the pavement meters away. “When I opened my eyes, I was in the hospital,” she told, with her head still in bandage.   |
