Woman Standing Next to the Road Hit by Pick-up Truck
A 17-year old woman was seriously injured as a result of the accident caused by a drunk driver who lost control of his vehicle and ran her over. The young woman was waiting for a bus when she was hit by the pick-up truck. Due to the impact, the vehicle was embedded in the structure of a house. The young woman alive was taken to the Hospital and from there she was later transferred to a private care center to be treated. The person responsible was arrested and the National Civil Police (PNC) confirmed the drunken state of the driver. |
