Woman Loses Control of Car Sliding into Helping Police Officer
Ohio -- A veteran Brooklyn Heights police officer was struck by a car Saturday afternoon on the ramp from Interstate 176 south to Interstate 480.
Lt. John Lambert, 42, is at MetroHealth Medical Center with multiple broken bones, including his pelvis and left eye socket, Lt. Joseph Zawislan said.
Lambert stopped on the ramp about 4:50 p.m. to assist a man who had crashed into the wall. The ramp was icy.
Another motorist, a 30-year-old Sagamore Hills woman, lost control and struck the front of the police car, then slid sideways into Lambert and the man he was helping.
The man and the woman, driving a 2001 Toyota, were not injured. The crash is still being investigated.

Looks more like his natural reaction was to make sure the other guy got hit before he did?
Anyhow, if one cars already crashed there, don't fucking stand there.
