Woman Jumps In Front Of Crashing Car To Save Young Boy
A Bridgeport woman is being hailed a hero for throwing herself in front of a speeding car to save a child's life. A ceremony was held for 32-year-old Shanta Jordan at her house. She was honored by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim and Police Chief A.J. Perez for saving an 8-year-old boy on May 31, 2017. The child is roughly the same age as Jordan's own three children. Gov. Dannel Malloy also sent his congratulations for a job well done. Police say video clearly shows that Jordan threw herself in front of a speeding, out-of-control car to save the life of a little boy. Jordan is now recovering from a broken pelvis. The images quickly went viral on social media and have now been seen by millions of people around the world. Jordan herself says she doesn't feel like a hero, just a mom who did what any good mother would do to protect a little kid from danger. The driver, 37-year-old Allen Pearson, was arrested and charged with reckless driving |

Same here. She doesn't even try to reach the kid... Hero my balls. Actually, no one in the scene try nothing, even the other kid got hit and the mother or whatever she was only run away "searching for help", btw that kid has some balls, getting up after that impact its impressive at that age. |
