The nearest cars are stationary still from the red light which tricks her mind to go for it without really thinking of other lanes of traffic that in this case she definitely cannot see, simple mishap from poor judgement. Shame the driver didnt also slow down considering its a crossing where vehicles are stopped and interfering with their view of potential pedestrians. In hindsight, everyone could do with taking a little step back and slowing down. No need to rush towards the grave |
