Woman Breaks Leg During Slingshot Attraction Mishap
On the night of Monday to Tuesday firefighters were called at 0:51, to rescue a young woman, aged 24, and her boyfriend being injured in the attraction "The Fifth Element" of Luna Park Cap Agde, located in the department of Herault in France. The attraction is a giant spherical slingshot. For some reason that remains unknown for now, one of the elastics snapped placing the unfortunate passengers in an awkward position. The young woman was taken to the hospital suffering a broken leg and the boyfriend had a few bruises. |

How damn unlucky can you get? There was another video where the cable snapped before release, and some guy was saying that THAT would be the only time a cable could go because it was under maximum tension at that point. He went on to say there was like a 0.1% chance the cable would snap after release because the forces involved were less powerful. Well, there's your 0.1%! |
