Wheelie Crash Reported Fatal in Huntington Beach, California, October 4, 2024
A motorcyclist was reported killed in a wheelie crash during a group ride in Huntington Beach, California, on October 4, 2024. The rider reportedly struck the rear of a Mercedes-Benz, was thrown into the opposite lanes and died at the scene. Video shows a rider performing a wheelie among other motorcycles before the crash aftermath. Bystanders run toward the scene, where a person is lying in the roadway. Other riders stop nearby, with debris and a downed motorcycle beside a yellow fire hydrant. |

The driver of the car got rear ended by Mr. Wheelie as far as I could tell.  Showing off is a fool’s idea of glory.  He did, however, launch himself into history.  |

The cause is under investigation? He did a 60 mph wheelie in 30 mph traffic. Case closed.
