just saw this on TV. the roads are so tiny the trucks wait to let each other by, and the weight of the trucks sometimes causes road to collapse underneath them. this happened in 2010 around the Himalayan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh regions in northern india don't know if the driver escaped or not |

I'm watching the new series of ice road truckers and they are in India - dangerous roads. Already been 7 deaths in one day on roads like that, dangerous as fuck.

BBC did a documentary where they went there as well, but are on the nepal side of the border. the 2 guys were rhod gilbert and greg davies, 2 stand up comedians, at one point they're in a bus, and looking out the side and you could see the road collapsing underneath the tires, bit like that part when the lady driver is stood on the side with the truck passing by
