Vintage Aircraft Crashes at an Air Show

MADRID Authorities say a plane has crashed into a hangar and exploded at an air show held in an airfield southwest of Madrid.

A spokesman for Spain's airport authority says some 3,000 people were at Cuatro Vientos airfield watching a showcase of aerial acrobatics and vintage aircraft when the plane crashed, sending a fireball into the air.

Images of a large plume of smoke rising above hangars Sunday and interviewed witnesses who described the plane entering a dive and crashing into buildings around 2 PM.

The pilot, Ladislao Tejedor Romero (35), died after suffering serious severe burns.

Three policemen were injured: a young woman who is in mild condition, has been moved to Hospital La Paz and the other two had signs of intoxications, but they have been discharged.

The pilot died, he was a collaborator of the minister of defence. It's a miracle that nobody else was involved in this.

Arthur Guyton 's Textbook of Medical Physiology states that "the total amount of water in a man of average weight (70 kilograms) is approximately 40 litres, averaging 57 percent of his total body weight. So, more likely only a 43 percent solid dude.
