HOUSTON, Texas (KTLA) -- A 3-year-old girl is expected to make a full recovery after being thrown from the "Techno Jump ride" at the Houston Rodeo Wednesday.

Video from KTRK-TV shows the unidentified girl, who met the height and weight requirements, being thrown from her seat once the ride began.

The girl was taken to Texas Children's Hospital where a CAT scan and X-ray revealed no serious injuries.

Last year, a man fell to his death from one of the carnival's roller coasters.

Safety teams inspected the "Hi-Miller" roller coaster and reportedly found no malfunctions.

Man there's so many things that could go wrong. Once when I was a kid, I was riding some ring of fire rollercoaster and it was just a fucking donut but my seat fucking open and i slammed against the roof of the thing.

Tallest damn 3-year-old I've ever seen. Besides, no 3-year-old would be allowed on that ride, at least not by Australian standards which have the exact same ride at one theme park I've been to.

Theres always more to the story..the child undid the belt,the parents lied about her age, the ride had previous faults.
