Most taxis are owned by the taxi company. So taxi drivers do not care about the condition of the taxis.

it's the taxi companies that are hiring people over 70. Recently an 80 year old cabbie was arrested after crashing into another cab killing a tourist and a 72 year old cabbie was killed and injured 6 in another crash because there’s no help for the elderly to survive and that generation grew up hustling because that’s all they know. (Plus crooked docs giving useless medical certificates)
