At least two people were seriously injured this Tuesday, November 14, after a gold mine collapsed in the border municipality of Gran Sabana, located specifically in the south of the Bolívar state.

They DO have a safety vest. The manager keeps it in the office. He showed it after this accident. They haven't unwrapped it yet, because they don't want to get mud from collapsing mine tunnels all over it. And when they bring something like that out, the kids are always fighting over it. So it's best to keep it in the file cabinet.  |
