Re: Vehicle Collides with Railings
A 60,000 pound rig vs a 2600 pound car. A little bump on the rear fender, enough to push the car out of control and into the guardrail, may not have been noticed by the truck driver. Have we not seen videos on DR of sedans being pushed sideways down the road by a big truck whose driver didn't know what was happening?

Re: Vehicle Collides with Railings
I totally agree with you, Shakey. You are what all good OTR drivers should be... totally aware of everything that is happening around their rigs. I'm just saying that, at least in the videos we see in this forum, truck drivers are much less than aware of what's going on around their rig and my comment tended to support their ignorance.

Re: Vehicle Collides with Railings
Only way the trucker did not see that is if he was blind, he knew, just didn't give a rats ass. Same can be said for all the idiot truck drivers shown on here that go down the damn road with a car stuck to the bumper--they know--they just don't give a shit. You would have to be brain dead not to know. |
