Poland, Nov 21, On an unguarded railway crossing between Torun and Łysomice, around 11.45 a Volkswagen Crafter delivery van got hit by a train.

Turning from DK No. 91 to the right towards Papowo-Osiek, the driver of the delivery company did not follow the traffic lights and collided with the approaching train.

The van was completely destroyed, luckily the driver did not do suffer serious injuries. With minor injuries he was hospitalized for observation.

According to the police, both drivers were sober. Traffic was halted for about an hour.
