Good catch, I think that's exactly what happened. Another good reason to move out of traffic lanes after an accident if possible, especially at night.

Saw an incident some what like this; except it was a car vs mountain & guardrail.

The folks in this vid were lucky. Especially the male/female not getting hit by the car recording it.

The family I saw, not so much. I will never get the image of the baby in the car seat flying through the air & over the cliff.

That sounds absolutely terrifying!! Cliffs scare the shit out of me! I even dream about going over them more than once a night too! As far as I know I have never gone over a cliff, but they scare the living shit out of me anyway!!
