A tire exploded while the tire repairman was servicing the item on Monday (14). The man who appears in the images, taken by a security camera, is A.A, 30 years old. He said he was working at the family's tire shop when the explosion happened.

He reports that this was the first time this happened to him, who has been working with the company for more than 10 years.

He reports that he was scared and with strong dizziness after the incident. "Now I'm fine, but it was a big scare. I had some scratches and had to have some stitches in my mouth and chin. I was quite dizzy", reports the tire repairman. He says that he did not notice any problems while assembling the tire and that so far he has not been able to identify the cause of the explosion.

He underwent tests and, according to him, no more serious fracture was found.

He is lucky. I’m guessing the tire bead let go early enough that there wasn’t enough pressure to blow him up. Normally these tire video guys’ land on the ceiling or in a different part of the parking lot..
