Saw this on Facebook, but no story attached to it.

A two-year-old boy, who was playing with an escalator's handrail in a Chinese shopping centre, was carried along with the movement of the handrail and fell from the top of the escalator to the floor below.

The boy fell two storeys much to the shock of shoppers on the ground floor.

Shopkeepers and the nearby public initially froze as the boy plummeted to the floor, but it was not long before a boy and many others rushed over to see if he was okay.

One man, who is believed to be the two-year-old's father, raced down the escalator from which he fell.

The toddler is now recovering, after several days of life-saving efforts.

If they would have had their focus on their child, like they certainly should, this could have been totally avoided..
